Greetings and welcome to Tattoo Artist Magazine also known as TAM
TAM is the collaborative project of Tattoo Artist Magazine and
professional tattooers everywhere, for the purpose of educating, entertaining, and
inspiring tattoo fans worldwide. TAM includes interviews and in-depth bios on some of the very best tattooers in the world, as well as music articles, event coverage, art shows, and general health and tattoo history columns.
My name is Dave Holm aka Dave DaSkin, your humble editor in chief and your host for the journey of TAM`s return in 2026 after a 12 year hiatus.
On behalf of the TAM team and all the exceptional artists and friends who’ve taken the time to contribute to the new Tattoo Artist Magazine, let me
say that we are all VERY glad that you`ve shown your support for TAM!
Trust me, tattoo artists and fans worldwide are watching closely to see what`s going to be inside the new TAM when we launch on the 1st of January 2026. And ya know what, TAM is going to blow them away with our first monthly issue!
The most astounding thing about TAM isn’t the quality of our contributed content, or that we feature only the finest professional tattooers on the planet; It’s that our often disjointed community is WORKING TOGETHER to do something positive and proactive!
TAM is the bi-product of an international community’s efforts to Educate, Entertain, and Inspire an entire new generation of tattoo artists and fans by sharing some of what we think makes tattooing so great, and why we cherish it so much. We want to see it respected, valued, and enjoyed… and we also
want to expose readers everywhere to the VERY BEST tattoo artists in the world!Â
It has been our goal since 2003 to present only the best of the tattoo world to professional tattooers worldwide in an effort to help raise the bar within the tattoo community.
This is the only tattoo magazine to be done by tattooers and with the support of the tattoo community. We have the sacred task of faithfully representing our art to the public. We honor tattooing, and we hope to honor you, both the professional tattoo artist and public by sharing it with you here.
TAM will be published once again starting in January 2026 with a fresh new look and new, exclusive content. TattooArtistMagazine.com will have two (2) audiences, you the professional artist and the public front end for the fans.
