“From Scratch” is the title of this deep, intense interview, I sat down with Matt Jordan a few weeks ago for over two hours talking about his recent exhibition “A Body Of Work” and his idealogy that surrounds him.
Matt recently wrote the following;
“I have spent the past decade of my life developing and creating this body of work to pay homage to the art of tattooing—to put it on the pedestal it deserves and to show the world that tattooing can be fine art.
This exhibition is about exploring how far I could push myself and my work—conceptually, artistically, and emotionally. It’s also about my clients: their stories, their pain, and their commitment.”
